About Me
Hey, Alex here and thanks for checking out my blog about how to quit nicotine.
I thought I’d just create a little page here to tell you a bit about myself.
I’m a 25 year old, studying full time in Los Angeles. Since October 2009 I’ve also fulfilled one of my toughest goals, finally I’ve quit smoking for good. It’s fantastic, I feel so good about myself these days.
As anyone that knows me will tell you, I’ve come a long way from the pack a day smoker I’ve been since junior high. I tried a whole load of stuff while looking for a way to get rid of cigarettes: gum, patches, inhaler, the list goes on and on.
But one day I came across the truth about how to quit nicotine and I’m so glad I did, it’s literally changed my life.
Anyway, I just created this blog to share my thoughts with all you frustrated guys are, and to hopefully help you fulfill your goal to quit smoking for good.
So, enjoy the site, and drop me some comments while you’re here too!

Will this help to lift my metabolism as well?
Hi – really great site you have made. I enjoyed reading this posting. I did want to publish a comment to tell you that the design of this site is very aesthetically delightful. I used to be a graphic designer, now I am a copy editor in chief for a marketing firm. I have always enjoyed playing with computing machines and am attempting to learn computer code in my spare time (which there is never enough of lol).
Thanks for the kind comments about the site! I’m not much of a designer so what a nice compliment!
I had good luck metabolism wise because when I tried to quit smoking the first time ‘cold turkey’ as they call it, I gained weight (about 10 lbs!)
I didn’t have that problem this time, so I successfully quit without any of the negative side effects like weight gain! cool huh
